TJ has loved fashion from an early age and (not surprisingly) was voted “Best Dressed” in high school. After high school, TJ moved to Atlanta to study Business Management and dreamed of opening his own clothing store. Shortly after graduation, TJ married his high school sweetheart who convinced him to trade in the city life to move to the beach. He quickly fell in love with Wilmington and the coastal lifestyle, but missed the diverse fashion scene of Atlanta. In 2013, TJ decided to put his 10 years of retail experience to work to help bolster the Wilmington fashion scene. TJ works with local boutique owners and fellow creative people to help them achieve their goals and continually raise the awareness of fashion in Wilmington.
TJ is the Founder of Wilmington Fashion Week; Co-Founder and Chief Fashion Officer of Wilmington Fashion; Vice Chair Shop Committee of Wilmington Downtown, Inc. TJ’s past work includes writing for Wilma and Men, Ink. Magazine, Coast 97.3 Fashion Minute, styling for Buckle, Coastal Urge, Pretty in Pink Fashion Walk, and guest speaker for Dress for Success.
